Market consultation on project IDEA
The Legal Aid Board is having a market consultation (the IDEA project) on the kind of IT architecture to be used in order to achieve current and future goals of the Legal Aid Board.
The first phase of the market consultation is an advice made by a group of experts. This phase is completed. A summary of the advice can be read here.
Presenting this document to the market and issuing a general request for further suggestions and opinions is part of the second phase of the IDEA market consultation.
The market is invited to comment on the first phase results before December 30th 2011, 12:00.
Issues to be addressed are for example:
- Is the enterprise architecture suitable for the solutions the Legal Aid Board needs?
- What areas of improvement can be identified?
- What risks are overlooked, under- or overestimated?
There are several more specific questions which are currently unanswered. The Legal Aid board is eager to know how the market would advise in these cases. The questions to be answered are especially organizational e.g. what are the profits and losses of dividing the procurement in five different lots:
- Channel input and output
- Message broker
- Database management
- WFM management
- Business functions used by WFM
Any comments and suggestions can be mailed to IDEA@rvr.org.
The procedure chosen does not allow for individual interaction; consequently, questions will not be answered.
